This page explains what personal data symPAtech collects when you visit this website or get in touch with us, and how that data is used and protected.

Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind. We only receive personal data if you choose to send it to us, in one of these ways:

• Contact form. The form on this site does not submit data to a server. It opens a pre-filled email in your own email application, addressed to info@sympatech.eu. Whatever you type — your name, orchestra or site, email address, and message — is sent directly from your own email account, the same as if you had written to us without using the form.
• Direct email. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that message (typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message).

Why we process this data

We use the information you send us solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss or carry out a booking or collaboration. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us, and, where a booking follows, the performance of that agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Server logs

This website is hosted by Combell NV, a hosting provider based in Ghent, Belgium, whose servers for this site are also located in Belgium. Like virtually all websites, the web server automatically records basic technical information for security and operational purposes when a page is requested — for example, IP address, browser type, and timestamp. This happens independently of any form submission, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for tracking, profiling, or marketing. Because hosting takes place entirely within Belgium, no personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA as part of running this website.

Fonts

The typefaces used on this site are hosted on our own server rather than loaded from a third party such as Google Fonts. Visiting this site does not share your IP address with any font provider.

How long we keep data

Emails and enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and for legitimate record-keeping (for example, ongoing or past collaborations), after which they are deleted or anonymised unless we are required by law to retain them for longer.

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not share it with third parties, except where required by law or where a service provider — namely Combell NV, our hosting provider — incidentally processes it on our behalf as part of running this website.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
